This is driving me nuts.

When sims get stuck and wont move or do anything.
This guy has his arm stuck up there weird.
This is how i figured out how to fix it but there might be a better way i just haven t found one yet.

The trim i ve used and seen it happen on is the fine thatch roof trim.

Basically i built a two level house at the beginning my sims were able to go up and down the stairs.
Sections of roof trim will just be black.

There is a glitch which can cause the maid to get stuck in the shower while cleaning it.
The sims 2 is picky with modern graphics cards.
Its gonna take a sec for the screen to load when leaving the house and loading the other city but it will kick it out of the glitch mode.
The sims 2 will now run on windows 10 and your days of crashing and flashing pink graphics are over.

If you re still having issues after applying the patch there are a few more things you can try.
If someone bulldozes every house in a neighborhood there may be save game errors and promotion or job stalling.
This is happening on ps4 also with 1 20.
